Possibly the most comprehensively rebuilt modern 6 metre is now available for sale.
Background: Scoundrel One was built in 1986 for Bruce Owen. Steered by Lawrie Smith, she won the 1987 World Championships in Seawanhaka, USA. Purchased by the current owner in 2006, Scoundrel One was completely rebuilt for the World Championships in Cowes, in 2007 at which she came 5th. Laid up under cover for the next 7 years Scoundrel One was re-commissioned in 2014 and competed in the European Championships in Falmouth that year and then the World Cup in La Trinite in 2015 at which she (again) came 5th. In 2016 another refit and complete re-fair and re-paint was undertaken in preparation for the 2016 Europeans in Brunnen but the trip was cancelled due to other commitments. Since 2016 Scoundrel One has been laid up under cover and has not even been launched since her last re-fit.
